I saw a Neurologist and she told me without doing any test I had MS.  She did every test known to man and then proceeded to tell me whatever I had was not showing up at the present time.  So, here I go on my long journey of doctor after doctor.  I have a history of gastro problems, kidney stones, and chronic bladder infections.  Then finally I had this thrush and lesions on my tongue that lasted a year and my ear, nose, and throat Dr. sent me to a salivary gland specialist.  She ran tests on me and did a lip biopsy that was negative because she said they were completely destroyed so she could not get a good test but with my Rheumatoid factor so high and my eyes and mouth so dry she thought I had Sjogren's.  I cried but yet I was relieved at the same time.  Finally some one would listen.  She sent me to my angel, my Rheumatologist.  She is my savior.  I was told before she could start me on any med's she would send me to an Ophthalmologist.  He told me I had keratoconjunctivitis sicca and had two dry places on my eyes along with mild meibomian gland inspissation.  He confirmed what the other Dr's. thought and that she could start me on the Plaquinel and the med's for dry eyes.  The Rheumatologist did a battery of blood work and said I also had Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.

     It has been three months since I started these med's and my energy level has improved greatly but my mouth and eyes have barely improved with the med's.  But I am grateful for my Dr's. for they have given me my life back.  We can all gain strength from each others stories and help one another with our journey with this disease to bring focus and attention to help us find a cure.
